Introduction
Fossil fuels are all non-renewable resources, but not all non-renewable resources are fossil fuels. A fossil fuel is a natural fuel, formed in the past remains of living organisms. Some examples are cool, natural gas, oil, and new clear. They are the main power source in the whole world. 90% of all technological energy is produced and run by fossil fuels. They are made when organisms died, were covered by dirt, sand, and rocks or, wet soil. By exploding the rocks, or burning, fossil fuels are produced. You may also find fossil fuels by mining. They provide heat, power to move vehicles, light, and more. A fossil fuel is made up of two substances, carbon and hydrogen. Some fossil fuels are found in rocks. When you burn fossil fuels release carbon.

Fossil fuels affect us because if we use too much, we will eventually run out. The reasons for that are, just fuels are non-renewable, so during our lifetime we will have been supplied once with awesome. Fossil fuels pollution caused oil spills, global warming, and acid rain. Oil spills cause long-term environmental damage. It affects animals and plants. It is bad because a chemical in the oil is poisonous. Global warming will cause less cool days, precipitation changes, and the sea levels will rise. The heat will cause fires, then cause more deaths. Acid Rain can cause health issues and harm Force. The rain seeps into the soil, that leads it to be unhealthy. It can also cause air pollution.
Cost

It cost about 5.3 trillion dollars per year to produce fossil fuels.
Fun Facts
- Fossil fuels were formed over millions of years ago from decomposed organisms.
- They are the cheapest fuels to use.
- Fossil fuels get their energy from the Sun.
- On Clarkson.edu it states, “The average household uses 10000 KWH.” (Kilowatt-hour.)
- Several millions of years to produce.
Current Events
Michael T. Klare states, “According to the most recent projections from the Energy Information Administration (EIA) Of the US Department of energy, Global consumption of wind, solar, hydropower, and other renewables between now and 2040, jumping from 64 to 131 quadrillion British thermal units (BTUs.)” But there's still hope for clean air, less pollution and cleaner waters, by using more renewable resources.
